  • Publicly posted content that appears on the Local Timeline.

Moderation Process

Disclaimer

Administrators may take additional measures if the moderation process described herein is insufficient to resolve an issue.

  1. A report is initiated either by an administrator identifying violations during proactive patrols or by a user reporting violating content.
  2. The report is forwarded to all administrators, who will receive both on-site notifications and email alerts.
  3. Upon processing the report, the administrator records the outcome and reasoning on the report page. The affected user is then informed of the specific content deemed in violation, the reasons for the violation, and the resulting action.
  4. If the user disputes the decision, they shall be directed to file an appeal via the contact methods listed on the Contact Us page.
  5. Administrators are not required to communicate with the user if the account is determined to be a bot or a mirror account.

Disclosure & Confidentiality

  1. Internal discussions among administrators shall remain confidential.
  2. Administrators must not disclose the source of a report (the reporter) to the user.
  3. All communications regarding reports between administrators and users (including off-site communications) should be recorded and archived.
  4. If a user publicly questions a disciplinary action, administrators are obligated to provide at least one public response.
  5. When suspending a user account, administrators must disclose the username and the reason for suspension to the entire instance. The reason for suspension must not contain private user information; furthermore, if the reason contains sensitive content, an appropriate Content Warning must be applied.
